Windy morning

Hello Friends,

10-15 kts plus of SE wind to get things started in Sydney today. And that means even the point at Dee Why is looking pretty ordinary. Still, there are some keen punters in the water chasing the odd chest to shoulder high set. Swell is mainly from the south, so that doesn’t help the cause all that much.

The Bureau says the wind is going to decrease and swing through the easterly quarters and settle into a NE’r this afternoon. What’s interesting is that the Bureau is also saying the swell should move around to a more favourable SE direction. So, if you have to miss the morning sesh, then maybe you’ll get an opportunity this afternoon when things have shifted around.

It should be partly cloudy and a cool 20 today.

According to this morning’s run of the swell forecast models, our next shot at reasonable waves looks like being Thursday-Friday when there’s a possibility of an east pulse with N-NE wind. The weekend is shaping to be back to straight south with a steady supply of southerly wind. Hmmm. Could be worse of course, so we’ll take it Huey, cheers.

Have yourself a great Tuesday!
