Slight increase evident

Hello Friends,

Sunny, offshore and a hint of south swell showing. Magnet spots might see the odd waist to chest bomb, but for the most part it’s more likely to be in the knee to waist range. Still, that’s an improvement over the last little while, so no grumbling from me!

MHL revamped their site some time ago and recently they’ve introduced a cool new directional spectra chart for the Sydney region. This morning it shows the swell energy primarily coming from the south, but it’s spread out a fair amount, so while it’ll be best at spots with optimal exposure, other places should see a few scraps as well.

The swell should increase as the day goes along, so if you can’t make the morning sesh, don’t despair! The wind’ll pick up and swing SW, so that’s not too bad a thing either.

Tomorrow the swell should bump up a bit more, so let’s hope the forecast is right and that an early SE swings SW as the day goes along.

I’m liking the look of the potential for the next 3-4 days. Nothing remarkable, but if the forecast models are correct, we won’t be facing the dire flatness of the last little while.

Go well everyone!
