Women’s Surf Tag

The Jim Beam women’s surf tag was run at Freshy today in pretty hardcore conditions.  A knarly paddle out and major time pressure ended up with North Narrabeen and Queenscliff going head to head in a tight race for the title.  With 7-times World Champ Layne Beachley heading up a hungry Queenscliff and Laura Enever the showcase surfer for NN it was a great display of women’s surfing and heat tactics.  Big clean up sets closing out the bay put everyone to the test but it was North Narra that just pipped Queenscliff for the win in the difficult conditions for their second title in a row. Surf tag is great viewing so make sure you get down and check out the next comp at your local.
