"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Get while the getting’s good

That'll do
Hello Friends,

90% chance of rain (15-30mm!) later in the day and after briefly being offshore this morning, the afternoon will see the wind coming from the opposite direction (SE to E). Swell at 0645 was 2 metres, SSE at 12 seconds apart. High tide was at 0654 and the low will be 1240. So, it looks as though you get waves early or you could miss out until Monday.

Swell should hold at about the same level all day. Where Dee Why’s concerned that means head plus on the average set. It was reasonably consistent and from the shape of this morning’s forecasts, the swell won’t be going anywhere for a few days yet. Indeed, the Bureau is warning of a pulse up into the 4 metre range on Monday as the swell swings east to line up with the strong winds (30-35 kts east on Mon arvo). The heavy rain is expected to still be with us through to Tuesday afternoon.

Stormy and wintry basically, so get ready to reef those sails and batten down the hatches me hearties!

Go well one and all.
