Noon – Just talked to Don, expecting to share stories about this morning’s surf. After all, there were corduroy lines coming in on a golden sun morning, no wind and warm water. But NO, he has yet to wet a toe! Him and PB saw our beautiful waves and, instead of jumping in, spent the morning driving down to Green Island. I was on the phone with him a minute ago while they were looking out at the waves from the path and deciding what to do. Waist to chest high, he says, off-shore, NO ONE out. When I got off the phone with them, they were still deciding. Don will have to report later to let us know if they actually got in the water before dark or spent the day looking for that perfect wave ….
