"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Hello Friends,

Happy Father’s Day to my fellow Dads! Wish I could tell you that it was pumping. But it isn’t. There’s about a metre of ESE wind swell (7-8 sec period) and although the wind’s not much of an issue to begin with and the tide is dropping, I’d be very surprised if you found anything above waist high. Judging by the WRL cam shot of south Narra at 0700, it’s just as marginal to flat there again this morning as it was yesterday. Oh well, what can ya do, eh?

I know! You could pitch into the RealSurf crowdfunding project! It will have been running for a week as of around 5pm this afternoon. I checked the total just now and we’re 76 bucks away from the $3000 mark. If we can persuade a friend or two to kick in today, we can end the first week of the campaign a third the way to our goal.

To those good folk who’ve already kicked in pledges, a huge thanks to you and I promise I’ll work hard right up to the last day to not only make, but to exceed the target.

Stay happy everyone and keep on smilin’
