Curly at low tide

Some size

Shorey fun

Went for a look at Curly this morning. The clouds were gathering and it was spitting with rain, but there were definitely a few sizable sets in the mix when I first rocked up. The swell had a kind of lumpy, raw look to it and for whatever reason, there was no one in the water from the middle to the north end. Not that there were many in the water at the south end. After watching for awhile it seemed as though the sets were getting further apart and also becoming smaller. Could have just been a lull around the tide change I suppose, but the chilly temps and dark skies didn’t make a tempting picture for me. It looks as though the swell probably peaked in the early morning hours and will now drop back pretty quickly to what it was yesterday.
