Waiting for the wind

Nothing wrong with that

A little peak

Hello Friends,

Smooth chest plus sets at Dee Why beach for the early, but the wind is set to ramp up to 25-30 kts NE this afternoon. By tomorrow morning, the Bureau says it’ll be gale warnings snapping in the rigging. The plan is to get in asap if you want clean conditions. Later on the very protected north corners could be the go. Wherever you go in a NE’r basically.

Tide was high at 0520 and will be low at 1110.

90% chance of rain today, so water quality isn’t going to improve until the sun comes back midweek – although long term outlook is for more showers late in the week. We definitely need the rain, so no complaints from me.

We’re launching into the 4th week of the crowdfunding campaign with the total pledged sitting just shy of the 50% mark. Next Sunday will be the half way point, so right now we’re a little ahead of where we have to be. Here’s hoping a few more of you who’ve been watching from the sidelines, will get on board today. I reckon if we could get 150-200 people involved, it’d happen.

Go well!
