South spots Saturday

Hello Friends,

We have another morning with a little wave activity. It’s south spots only though because the 1.5 metre SSE swell is only about 8 seconds apart on average, so it’s pretty directional. Places not optimally positioned will be tiny to flat (looking at you Collaroy), or only marginal (say hi to Gardens and Northy). Wind was light and offshore for the early and skies were pretty much clear from horizon to horizon. Next tide’s a high at 0915. Low will be along at 1530.

According to the Bureau, the wind will become variable around lunch time and the swell should could come up a touch more. That sounds like a recipe for waves of some sort pretty much all day – at south spots.

Sunday looks like going steadily smaller and more marginal as the little south pulse subsides across the day. Wind should be okay though.

A little shout out to you weekend warriors: we’re almost to the halfway point in our crowdfunding campaign and we’ve still got quite a bit to raise. How ’bout you make your pledge today? 🙂
