The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 10 October 2013: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

First though..

1. Happy Birthday to Don!  Why not put a big smile on his face by ‘pledging’ to the fundraiser today ?

2. Next – you fit ones can get your paddles out for the annual Lion Island Challenge on Saturday –  Rego from 6:45am. Racing starts 8:30am. Details here:

Now for the surf… Maybe go back to 1. and 2….

Oh OK.. Shifting winds, shifting fortunes, shifting surf…

Friday: not sure – maybe a little something from the South depending on the change expected today

Saturday: left over little south bits, then local Noreast windswell

Sunday: dittoish

Monday: a little something from the South

Tuesday: ditto only smaller

Wednesday: small Nor east

Thursday: smaller still.

Well the water is clear and is starting to warm a little, around 20, so have a swim.  Or there’s plenty of kingfish off the wharf at Manly – though bizarrely, off the menu at a Manly Fish retaurant.
