The early southerly has cleanish conditions at Manly with almost 3ft of swell getting in. 8:42am high tide isn’t helping but the wind will swing around more east so it wouldnt have been a bad call to get out early. 99% of surfers are south of North Steyne going for the cleaner conditions but there are waves the whole way just nothing that good. Any waves are good for a Sunday I guess. Yesterday Bethany Hamilton and the RipCurl bikini tour were teaching kids to surf. Amazing the crowd Bethany attracts and you can’t help but be amazed and inspired when you see her surf. Throws all your excuses out the window when you blame this and that for feeling like a kook some days. Try doing it one-armed. Awesome.
