Grey skies, SW wind, teeny-tiny wind swell

Not much at all

You could have it to yourself

Sole surfer

Hello Friends,

Really not much of a morning for surf it has to be said. SW wind meant that it was comparatively clean lots of places, but the residual NE wind swell is awful weak and gutless and tiny. You really need an air mat or similar large floaty object (kids’ inflatable wading pool maybe?) to have much chance of any shorward push.

The Bureau says the wind’ll kick along like this for pretty much the rest of the day. So, not much hope of an improvement in prospect. Tomorrow the wind should be light early and there just might possibly be a little bumpy south-east/east combo at spots that like that sort of thing.

From this morning’s swell modelling, it looks as though the further north you are on the east coast, the better your prospects of a little something in the mornings. Or, you could go to SW vicco or WA!

Have yourself a top old Saturday one and all!
