"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Not much of interest to start

Hello Friends,

Saturday kicked off with a weak little east wind swell of about a metre at around 7-8 seconds apart. At Dee Why it was manifesting as knee to waist plusses along the beach. The point was back asleep again after its brief wakefulness on Wednesday arvo. Wind was light from the SSW to begin with, but the Bureau has hoisted the strong wind pennants for S-SW 15-25, going SE in the afternoon. Bah. The plan is to get in now if you can. The models show swell picking up from the south, but nothing was showing at the buoys off to our south, so not sure about that one.

I’m with the Goat about tomorrow and Monday’s outlook (see down page). Looks as though we’re in for generally onshore conditions into the middle of the month – at least. The long range modelling is still projecting an interesting east in about 10 days, but obviously that is still very much in the realms of wild speculation for now.

Have yourself a good one!
