"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Southerly early

Hello Friends,
Good morning to have slept in methinks.
Only a faint little east-ish wind swell struggling feebly in as the day got started. Big old high tide just after ten isn’t helping, but the cloudy skies and steady 10-15 kts of south wind are really putting paid to any stoke for the time being.
The Bureau says the wind will slacken off around midday as it comes around to the NE, so there’s a possibility of a little something at midday – although going by yesterday, the tide could still be doing its dastardly deeds.
I’m not overly hopeful about tomorrow or Monday at this stage. However, there does seem to be some hope that we’ll see something sizable mid-week. The wind is the big question mark though. Right now it’s shaping to be vigorously southerly to SE as the swell peaks Weds.
We shall see…
Have yourself a great Saturday!
