Waves early, but for how much longer…

Hello Friends,
Saturday dawned mostly clear with a faint NW breeze and the MHL buoy data showing a touch under 2 metres of ESE swell at 12 seconds. Swell has faded overnight and will continue its downward trend today as we head toward some early week smallness.

At first light there were half a dozen keen punters in the water at the point getting the odd head high set, but mostly it was smaller than that. Not looking super consistent either. Up the beach, the waves were about the same size but the shutdown count seemed to be pretty high.

There should be a few waves around through to lunchtime, and then gradually smaller this afternoon. Tomorrow’s looking like a good day to give Mum your full attention. There might possibly be a dribble or two for the early

Have yourself a great Saturday one and all!
