"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Not a nice morning Huey

Hello Friends,

Off to work or school with you. Nothing of any interest going on at Dee Why this morning. A weak SE wind swell is labouring to produce anything above waist high along the beach. The point isn’t a factor. Wind was SW early, so if there’d been swell, it would’ve been do-able. But there isn’t, so there wasn’t.
Wind is set to bump up to 15-25 kts from the south, so that’ll knock things around later. But it doesn’t look like the swell is going to come up with it. We’re still in line for a reasonable size pulse late in the weekend, but the wind won’t be letting up until maybe mid-week.
Ah well, into the waiting game again…
So have yourself a great Friday and get up to some good where you can!

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Bight is extending a ridge to the southern Tasman Sea. This high is expected to strengthen during the next day or two while moving gradually southeast, expected to be centred over Bass Strait by the end of the weekend. This pattern will direct a generally southerly airstream along much of the New south Wales coast through this period.
