Our new little surf grommet and future Realsurf reporter Noé Rennie was born early Tuesday morning. I promise not to flood the feed with baby pics until he can actually surf however it made me realise how cool it is to add him to my surfing quiver! Over the years I got bored of riding shortboards in crappy conditions so started adding fishes, longboards, SUPs and softboards depending on the day and found myself getting so much more water time and having a lot more fun. Now with this little grommet I get to have the thrill of starting all over again and enjoying watching someone else surf more than catching a few myself. Now that’s a good addition! Oh and there’s a nice little southswell running today to get out on. Manly is surfable with a few waits and it’s a little straight. Should be bigger elsewhere so go find something.
