Quiet Tuesday morning at Dee Why

Hello Friends,
This morning saw about a metre of 9-second period SE swell wafting in under sunny skies, wintery chilliness and light offshores. Tide was dropping toward the low at 0930. But the only person having a go when I grabbed the pics was a lone SUPster looking around the point for a little wave. Didn’t have any luck while I watched. Sets seemed to be in the knee to waist high range, so there should be something if you’re keen.
The Bureau says the swell will come up a little as the day goes along, but it looks as though that’s because they also expect the wind to go around to the south in the afternoon. So, I’m not overly hopeful.
The swell models are kind of all over the place this morning, but there seems to be some commonality about an improvement tomorrow as a longer period pulse develops. It’s nearly 14 seconds from the south down at Eden right now, so, it’s not an implausible prediction.
The remainder of the work week seems to shaping to be smallish Thursday with maybe an uptick Friday, lasting into Saturday. And the very long range predictions are looking interesting for next week… and that’s a good thing.
Have yourself a great Tuesday everyone!
