Waves for the early crew

Hello Friends,

Swell has perked up overnight and as of 0600 was 2 metres at 11 seconds from the south with light west wind. Tide was high at 0545 and will get back to low at 1130.

Sets at Dee Why point were around the chest high mark on the take off, but were mostly smaller than that once you got down the line. The beachy didn’t seem to be shutting down quite as much as the last few days and it was reasonably consistently delivering waist to chest plus on the take off.

The Bureau says the wind will move more around to the e-ne by lunch and is expected to be a chop-inducing 10-15kts. They also warn that the swell will pick up later today and have posted a warning for deceptively powerful surf conditions.

Like the Goat says, the next week is looking pretty reasonable for surfin’. So woohoo!

Have yourself a great Friday one and all.
