Surf’s comin’ up from the Low out in the Tasman

Saturday: in the 3-4 metre range East South East

Sunday: don a little 2-3 + metres East South East

Monday: 2-3 metres East South East

Tuesday: 1-2 metres East

Wednesday: 2-3+ metres at dead South places

Thursday: 1-2metre range dead South

Friday: 1-2 metre range dead  South

Opening of the new refurbished Avalon Beach SLSC Sunday 31 August 2014:

New members welcome – fit and active, and not so active for other community contributions.  Enquire when you visit.

The one community building houses:

1. the surf club’s training, meeting, first aid facilities and rescue equipment and hall available for public hire and use by community groups in the northern two thirds of the building – surf rescue and prevention activities being its principle function, and

2. the southern part houses the public dressing sheds etc and will house a public restaurant and cafe controlled by the Council which the Council is currently seeking interest in leasing out.
