So the water and weather is at it’s winter coldest, the whale season is not over, yet we put out shark nets now?? Sure bad timing of my comment in light of the tragic death in Byron but we don’t have Bryon’s level of shark activity. Manly council voted against reducing the net season by a month recently so I’m sure the whales will thank them for that. Anyway rant aside the surf would normally be good with a 2ft of NE windswell style bumps but at dawn the tide was getting full (9am) and it was a bit fat. as I post it should be getting better and worth a paddle if you have time.
