"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Sunny, small but surfable

Hello Friends,

High tide at 0800 meant early risers had to contend with fatness as well as a faded and fading ESE swell of about 1.5 metres and 10 seconds apart. There should be the odd waist plus set at exposed spots this morning. It’s such a beautiful morning that even a paddle would be worth the effort.

Outlook remains for conditions to be small to near flat through Thursday, but the models continue to show a brief short-period pulse of south wind swell – unfortunately the Bureau is showing strong southerlies with it. So, not a really fabulous outlook. And it appears whatever energy we get will only last for day or so.

Have yourself a great day everyone!

Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the central Tasman Sea is maintaining a ridge into New South Wales and directing southeast to northeasterly winds along the coast. Northeasterly winds are expected to increase during Wednesday as a trough approaches from the west. This trough is forecast to bring a southerly change to southern and central parts of the coast during Thursday, extending to the north coast on Friday. Another high is forecast to move in behind the trough during Friday as the low moves rapidly away to the east, and this high should remain the dominant feature in the region through the weekend.
