In association with the legends at Panasonic and Patagonia, Duke’s Shorts is giving all film makers the opportunity to have their short film played on a massive outdoor screen in front of thousands of people! You’ll also be in with a chance to win the amazing Panasonic Lumix GH4 camera, featuring 4K video, with 12-35mm F2.8 lens (total value $2999). There’ll be a bunch of other prizes given out on the night from Patagonia.
As the finale to the Duke’s Day celebration, Jack McCoy will be presenting his award winning film “A Deeper Shade Of Blue” on Saturday Jan 10 free for everyone, and all Duke’s Shorts finalists will have their films shown prior.
All you have to do is create a short surf film telling a story that shows “our community’s love and respect for the ocean” and/or somehow incorporate Duke Kahanamoku into your film, then send it to us by Dec 10. Easy!
