Glassy waist high lumps for the patient

Hello Friends,
The odd shower about this morning and wind coming lightly from the WNW as we got started. At 0600, swell around 2 metres from the NE with an average period of close to 10 seconds. Tide’s high at 1010.

Dee Why was glassy to start, getting fat on the incoming tide and an inconsistent waist high.

Outlook is for the wind to stay out of the north most of the day before going southerly this evening. Swell should stick around at about the same level today and with luck we’ll still have a taste tomorrow morning.

Long range modelling this morning predicts that at best we can hope for smaller conditions midweek and maybe marginal but surfable out beyond that. So, dive in and grab a little something if you can, but you’ll probably want to give beaches from Curly to Manly a miss as the Beachwatch people are rating them as Pollution Likely.
