Steady rain to start Tuesday

Hello Friends,

Steady SE wind and equally steady rain greeted early risers at Dee Why this morning. The water looked kinda woofy and the wave quality was strictly average. But, there were shoulder plus sets at the point and waist to chest along the beach. When I checked it around 0700, it was still nearly two hours off low tide. Swell looked to be more east than not and I reckon the period was 9-10 seconds.

Wind is set to stay SE around 15-20 kts for the next couple of days, but by Thursday the call is for S-SW 15-25kts with an outlook for SW and bigger plus longer period south energy for Friday. Indeed, if the more hopeful models have it right, Friday-Saturday could be downright interesting.

Have yourself a great Tuesday and here’s hoping the end of the week forecasts come true for us.
