At first it looked as though the Bureau might’ve been wrong about the wind… when I got to the point around 0830 there were 20 people in the water and some kinda nice head plus sections on offer. It gradually got lumpier, but for the next hour or so I managed to get a few waves – a sample of which are shown in the gallery below.
