Clean waves early at south spots

Hello Friends,

Very light wind under grey and occasionally drizzly skies as the day got started. Happily there was some waist to chest southeast swell getting picked up by the magnet peaks. Swell’s around the 1.5 metre mark with an average period of 9 seconds or so. It wasn’t doing much at Dee Why point but up the beach at No Mans it looked fun. There were waves in the waist to chest plus range from there pretty much up to Longy. Around at Collaroy Narrabeen there were a few little focal points in the waist to chest range and quite a crew at Northy.

Wind should be light this morning before dribbling around to the NE as the swell fades out on us and stays faded for the next few days. Could be a pulse in the latter half of the coming week – assuming the models are calling it accurately. That’ll be good for all the jousting down at Manly because if those models are right, we could be looking at shoulder to head plus from around Thursday onward. The very long range projections are currently projecting a steady supply of solid 10-sec, 2 metre east energy from Friday into the middle of the following week. So, maybe a slow start for the comp, but potentially finishing with a bang.

Have yourself some fun and take it easy, there’s gonna be lots and lots of folk in the water wherever you find a wave this morning.
