Winter whisper

Hello Friends,

Grey, cool and drizzly start to Friday’s proceedings in Sydney. Wind’s out of the SSE at 15-25 kts and at 0500 the MHL buoy was showing 3 metres of 9-sec period SW swell. So it’s onshore and junky everywhere.

1000: Nowhere from Manly to Dee Why looked remotely interesting for surfin’ this morning. Onshore was ripping the tiny, weak swell to bits everywhere. A good day for other pursuits.

In fact, it looks a good couple of days for other pursuits if the swell models are right. Tomorrow morning might see a few soft little things with only light onshores. Sunday the wind looks to be too much from early for much in the way of quality although if the change hangs back a bit, we could get a brief window of opportunity. Wind seems to be an issue through Monday
but there seems to be some slight hope for fun conditions Tue-Wed mornings.

Have yourself a top Friday!
