"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

If you’re extra keen

Hello Friends,

Southerly was going hard enough offshore to be kicking up whitehorses, but inshore at 0815 it was comparatively lighter and North Head was showing about 10 kts. Skies were solidly overcast with occasional sprinkles. The change, as expected, has pushed up some waist high rideable bumps at Dee Why. The MHL buoy was showing nearly 3 metres of dead south at 9 sec as of 0600.

The Bureau says the swell should drop a little this morning before coming back up in the afternoon. But the SE’r is expected to be with us until Sunday morning.

If you’re really keen and you don’t mind the dull skies, and lumpy junky conditions, you’ll get something for sure. As for the longer range outlook, nothing I’ve seen makes me disagree with
the Goat’s call for the coming week.

Have yourself a Good Friday!
