Flatness at DY this am

Hello Friends,

Pretty quick report for this morning: Dee Why’s flat and it was raining lightly as the day got started. The MHL buoy was detecting a metre of 9-sec south swell, so while DY is off the list, it’s possible that a magnet peak somewhere along the beaches will be just barely surfable.

Tides: high at 0710, low at 1300

Happily, outlook remains for abundant swell energy for the remainder of the week. The models are pointing at waves in the head plus range at magnet spots from maybe late today through to Saturday morning. Wind is predicted to be mostly south west and gradually losing intensity toward the end of the week. Weather should be partly cloudy and damn chilly (for Sydney).

Have a great Monday!

The two systems are bringing vigorous south to southwesterly change along New South Wales coast. Winds are expected to gradually ease during Tuesday and Wednesday as the high moves over southeastern Australia strengthening the ridge over the western Tasman Sea.
