Sunny and clear blue skies, but the wave situation has gone downhill since yesterday. We’re looking at 1.4 metres of 9-sec SSE energy out at sea, but Dee Why wasn’t picking up much of anything.
There was a group of hopefuls bobbing just off the rocks at the point when I grabbed the pics, but I’d say the catchable ones were very few and far between, and then probably not much to write home about. The beachy didn’t appear to have any takers. I reckon the stretch up to No Mans might be in the knee plus range. Tide’s low at 0920, so maybe as it starts to come back in, there’ll be a little something…
The micro to marginal conditions look to continue through tomorrow before we see a small uptick on Wednesday. Right now the models are predicting about 2-2.5 metres for Wednesday with SW in the morning and southerly in the afternoon.
