Hello Friends,
Had to be in town early this morning, so no picture taking until I came back along the beaches around 0900. Swell has perked as anticipated. As of 0700 it was 1.7 metres from the SSE at 13 seconds apart. This was producing chest to head high set wave faces along Curl Curl. The north end seemed a touch bigger than the south. At Dee Why there were very occasional chest plus wave faces but mostly it was more in the waist-ish range. The beachy was bigger, but inclined to shut down on the head high bombs. Longy looked to be getting stuff in the chest plus range near the lugga.
Tide was low at 0545 and will be high again at 1210. Wind is set to be out of the north at 15-20 kts later.
Swell looks likely to fade a little across the day, but with any luck there should still be some little things to play on into tomorrow morning (hoping for knee to waist plus at south magnets by then).
Beyond that, well, may I refer you to his eminence, The Goat!
