Hello Friends,
Just about flat looking at Dee Why from the RealSurf crows nest this morning. MHL data was showing 1.3 metres of 13-sec energy from the SSE and wind was light from the NW. Tide’s low at 0955 and we’re heading for a high of 33 under clear skies.
Only a couple of bods on SUPs poking around along the beach from what I could see. Wave faces looked to be in the knee high range. But, if it’s like yesterday, there could be bigger sets every 10-15 minutes.
Wind is expected to pick up from the N-NE later this morning and get into the 15-20 kt range.
Tomorrow we’re expecting a 25-30 kt SE change by evening. That’ll push up a short period south wind swell, Thursday looks like being SE from the get go. Skies will be cloudy and temps struggling to get to 20. Swell could be around the 2 metre mark but periods only 7-8 seconds.
This morning, such as it is, could be the pick.
Go well!
