Surf forecast issued Thursday 8 October 2015: Seven day outlook for Sydney:
Isn’t this weather fun.?.. hot ..cool ..then warm …cold..
Don’t worry it’ll be hotter again soon.. . then cooler ..
Just keeps you alert.
Good thing the surf”s been consistent eh?…
Consistently changeable that is..
And looks like it’s going to continue to be consistent..
..ly changeable . To keep you alert.
But to help you out, here are some clues ( just remember, you can’t tell Mother Nature what to do):
Friday: swell direction more East South East than today, so let’s say in the 1-2 metre range, lower end, going down thru the day
Saturday: say around 1 metre or so East…fine conditions for the Annual Lion Island Challenge details here
http://avalonbeachslsc.com.au/surf-sports/the-lion-island-challenge/
Sunday: about 1 metre or so North East, with a bit of East at times
Monday: ditto but more NorNorEast for most of the day
Tuesday: starting to come up in the 1-2 metre range through the day at places that like dead South swell..nothing much elsewhere
Wednesday: going down to around 1 metre or so, dead South places only
Thursday: less than 1 metre.
Variety is the Spice of Life!
Water temp is varying too 20..22..20..as the East Coast Current swirls around.
