Very small on Monday morning

Hello Friends,

In line with yesterday’s forecast, Monday morning sees a metre of 8 second SSE swell out at sea and maybe a third of that at Dee Why. Surface conditions were smooth at 0700 thanks to a light NNW breeze. Skies were clear. Next tide is a high at 0840.
Outlook is for the wind to stay northerly through the day but for a late southerly change to come through this evening. We might even get a shower or two.
Tomorrow looks to be cloudy with a medium chance of showers and southerlies of 25-30 kts. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear that we’ll get anything much in the way of surf out of the wind event – just a slight uptick in short period wind swell.
The long range models are all pretty quiet too. There seems to be some slight prospect of a little uptick Friday-Saturday, but at this stage it’s likely to be marginal at best.
Patience friends, patience.
Go well and have yourself a fine Monday!
