Fading but light offshore early

Hello Friends,

Swell’s dropped overnight as expected, but there were still a few waist high plus waves to be had along the beach and, very occasionally, the point. Wind was lightly from the NW and the latest data from the MHL buoy (c. 0400) was showing 1.7 metres of 9s swell from the SSE, along with a small NE component.
Tide’s low at 0725 and high again at 1320. By the time it’s back to high the wind should be around to the NE but fairly light.
The week is shaping up to be a small one surfwise, but with luck the winds will generally be light for the early and there’ll be something in the knee to waist high range to go with it.
Have yourself a top old Monday and keep on smilin’!
