Running behind schedule, so a couple of pictures to give you an idea of the situation as of 0700. Little waves in the knee to waist plus range along the beach and periodically at the point. Light winds early but there’s a strong wind warning for northerlies later. Swell was 1.5 metres from the ESE at 10 seconds as of 0300. Tide’s low at 1215.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge to the north, directing north to northeasterly winds along New South Wales coast. On Friday afternoon a cold front will bring a vigorous southerly change to the far south coast, extending to central waters overnight and to the far north coast early on Saturday. Winds are expected to turn southeasterly during Sunday as another high pressure system moves over the Tasman Sea extending a ridge to the north.
