Tiny Tuesday under clearing skies

Hello Friends,

Had to wait for awhile to get a picture of someone actually riding a wave at the point a little before 0700 this morning. Swell has dropped down another cog and the rideable set waves are getting rarer. Wind was light from the north and the 0500 MHL data showed about a metre of 9-second SE swell. Tide was low at 0615 and will be high at 1240.
The wind’s expected to ramp up into the 20-30 kt range from the NE by late afternoon. It should be sunny and we’re due to get a high of 27 today and 29 tomorrow.
Outlook is for the tiny conditions to persist through tomorrow and aside from a possible uptick on Thursday when a southerly comes through. It then looks like going back to small to flat until early next week when we might get a little bump into the waist plus range.
Stay happy everyone and have a top old day!

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the central Tasman Sea extends a ridge towards the northern New South Wales coast, and is directing east to northeasterly winds over most waters. This pattern will remain until a cold front brings a southerly change to the south coast early Wednesday, extending to central areas overnight before weakening on the north coast during Thursday. Behind this, a new ridge looks set to extend into New South Wales from the west, with most areas likely to experience fairly light winds during the latter part of the week.
