Knee to waist high at Dee Why this morning

Hello Friends,

Getting into the marginal range this morning at the point. Swell’s coming from the east at around a metre with an average period of under 8 seconds. That means knee to waist on the catchable ones at the point, and something similar along the beach.
Winds were light and from the N to W early. Tide was low at 0630 and is now coming into the high at 1230. By the time we’re dealing with high tide fatness, the wind’s expected to be out of the north at 10-15 kts.
The Goat should be along with his forecast later today and I’ll be interested to see his take on the prospects. The models are generally pointing toward small to marginal across the next week, but some hold out hope for Saturday morning and again on Monday.
Get out for a splash if you can, but take your little wave board and however it plays out, have a top old day!
