TG’s quick forecast

Surf forecast issued Friday 6 May 2016: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

Summer weather continues…. Wonder if we’ll match the most number of days for Sydney above 20 degrees …. set, according to the Bureau of Metoeorology in 1913-14…  over 100 years ago.

Surf also continues along summery lines with some fun small to medium waves around…and a lot of people saying how pleasant that combination is for this time of year.

Saturday: around 1 metre or a little more, Eastish

Sunday: ever so slightly bigger, Eastish

Monday: in the 1-2 metre range North East

Tuesday: down a little on the beaches as the direction becomes more from the North

Wednesday: in the 1-2 metre range probably low end Eastish with a little (not a lot) South showing

Thursday: ditto and only at places that like dead South swell…

Water temp is back up to 22 today (MHL)…matches the weather nicely.

But the temp is likely to bounce around more as the East Coast current swirls around and the warmer water starts to retreat north..
