Grey and glassy but very small on the early high tide

Hello Friends,
Swell, such as it is, is coming mainly from the E by ENE this morning. At 0600 it was about 1.5 metres but with an average period of just 7 seconds. Those settings are pretty close to yesterday’s, so if you managed to find something worthy of your effort then, the same conditions should be roughly the same.
Wind is expected to come around to the north and get into the 15-25 kt range later. Tide’s high at 1020 and will be back to low at 1600. At the same time the swell is predicted to bump up a little and some of the models are showing the possibility of longer, juicer period energy too. With any luck it’ll stick around into tomorrow. Midweek looks tiny on the models, but some are showing a nice perk into the fun range from Thursday onward.
Your correspondent is going to head up the coast again this week, so expect a few more postcards along the way. I hope they’ll mostly be of waves, but we shall see…
Have a great Monday!
