The outlook is for several days of westerly type wind across the continent and Great Southern Ocean. This should bring some swell up the NSW coast from way down south…(along with cooler air temperatures..You can’t have everything )
Although the swell coming up the coast will be from dead South or SSW it’s expected to be long period swell because of the distance it’s traveled, which should mean waves can refract more into southern corners of beaches.
So,..with offshore winds making for some good surfing conditions…
Saturday: small to flat for most of the day…starting to come up after dark later
Sunday: around 2 metres at places open to dead South swell…with some bigger sets…mostly smaller at other places
Monday: up more, to say 2+ metres dead South, bigger on the sets (with 14-15 second periods)
Tuesday: in the 1-2 metre range as the direction becomes more South South West
Wednesday: dropping to around 1 metre or so
Thursday: up again into the 1-2 metre range dead South
Friday: similar.
Water temp is around 20…
Have fun..stay safe.
