Yay! I was wrong yesterday, we have waves this morning

Hello Friends,

I love it when that happens. Yesterday it looked as though today would be marginal at best. Instead, the MHL buoy was showing 1.6 metres of 10 sec SSE swell. We also have light westerlies now and the forecast says they’ll prevail through the day. Tide will be low at 0850 and back to high at 1520. So, looking pretty good if you have the time to get to a south magnet spot today. Certainly it looked to be waist to maybe even shoulder high at the point and along the beach. Given the period, it should be relatively consistent too.
It’ll be interesting to see what the Goat has to say, but it looks to me as though this pulse will maybe last through tomorrow before dropping back into the marginal range across the weekend.
I’m grabbing the camera and heading out the door soon, so if I spot anything of interest there’ll be a few more pics up later… have a great day!
