Swell has come up just a touch from yesterday. The MHL buoy was showing a metre of 8-sec SSE windswell and wind at North Head was out of the west at 10 kts as of 0750. Tide will be high at 0845. There were no takers at the point – unsurprisingly – but there looked to be some catchable little bumps up the beach toward no mans. Didn’t see anyone actually catch one so I’m guessing when I say it might be in the knee and a bit range.
You need to get on it ASAP because the Bureau says it expects the swell to drop as we get toward midday. Should be a sunny one too.
