Surfers hunting for waist plus sets at 0700

Hello Friends,

Light west south west wind under sunny skies at 0700. Tide was dropping to the low at 0830 and there were knee to waist plus waves at the point and along the beach. According to the MHL data as of 0600 swell 2.3 metres and was coming from the SSE at 8 seconds apart.
Wind should stay out of the SW until late this afternoon when it’s due to go SE.
Beachwatch was warning of likely pollution at most Sydney beaches in yesterday’s report but happily this morning sees the majority being unlikely to be polluted.
And the surf outlook for the week ahead? Well, I yield the floor to the Goat
Have a great Friday everyone!

Weather Situation
A low pressure system over the Tasman Sea will continue to move east away from the New South Wales coast today as a high pressure system over the Bight moves east and extends a ridge across the state. This will promote southeast to southwesterly winds across New South Wales waters for today, before the strengthening high pressure ridge over the state tends winds northeast to northwesterly for central and southern waters from Saturday.
