Hello Friends,

Another beautiful day coming up for Sydney. Unfortunately for DY surfers there was nothing going on at the point and only the odd knee high ripple along the beach when I checked it out at 0720. I reckon the best of the magnets will be in the knee to waist range with the odd plus. The MHL buoy was showing a metre of 9-sec SE wind swell. Tide’s dropping to low at 1040 and will be back to high at 1715. Should get to 20 later and water’ll be around 18.
Tomorrow and Tuesday look like being smaller again, but there’s still some hope for a brief long period pulse late Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Wind’s expected to be north at around 10 kts, so north corner, south swell magnets are the best bet. Unfortunately the models are generally aligned on this one in that they project the long period stuff to fade rapidly Weds morning.
Have a great Sunday everyone!
ps: I’m doing a radio chat with Simon Marnie a litte after 1000 on ABC 702’s weekend show…
