hello Friends,

Scrappy and small at the Dee Why end of the beach, but there should be waist to chest energy at stretches of beach more receptive to the 2 metres of 8 second NE wind swell. Speaking of wind, it was 10-15 kts from the NW at 0730 but it should switch west later. So a good looking combo for waves all day I reckon. But you will have to hunt around for the optimal alignment.
Tide is low at 0800 and high again at 1440

Outlook for tomorrow’s not hopeless but the trends are pointing toward pretty small and thereafter it looks like we’ll need to wait until midweek for anything into the surfable range…

Have a great Saturday!

Weather Situation

A high pressure system centred over the Tasman Sea is moving slowly east while the cold front approaches from the west. Strengthening northerly winds today will shift west to southwesterly later on Saturday as the cold front moves through. Conditions are expected to ease from Sunday as the next high pressure system extends a ridge from the west. The next cold front is due to cross New South Wales on Monday and Tuesday.
