TG’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 13 October 2016: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

Well girls… and I use the term collectively… you know those pop up shops ??? here today, gone tomorrow…(Yes) …Well we had a “pop up surf” today…  TG expects it to start packing up its wares tomorrow and moving on.

A fairly fast moving weather system is expected to bring us more wind changes (and some more wind too) and temperature changes in the coming week…so more variable surf conditions ~~~~~~~~~

Friday: down from today but still in upper end of the 1-2 metre range at places that like dead South swell , with some maybe getting into sheltered corners (ie smaller tomorrow at DY point than the modest size it was late today for example)

Saturday: down more in the 1-2 metre range dead South places

Sunday: 1-1+ metres North East

Monday: 1-2 metre range North East

Tuesday: down, say around 1 metre or so North East

Wednesday: probably small after being knocked down by the wind but starting to show from the South maybe even 1-2 metre range at dead South places

Thursday: change again say around 1 metre North East

Are you keeping up ????

Ocean

Water temp is currently said to be 21 but is still bouncing around as the East Coast current swirls its way south, dragging a few whales along with it for their cool summer break in Antarctica…(I wonder if they go round in circles too?? ~~’Whoosh…Hey, didn’t we see that stretch of sand last week ???…whoosh’~~)…so the water temp will probably be variable for a little while yet.
