Choppy, high tide little bumps

Hello Friends,

8-10 kts of NE wind chopping it up as of 0700 this morning. And it’s going to pick up to be 20-25 kts this afternoon. Meanwhile the MHL data from 0400 showed 1.5 metres of 11-sec period swell coming from the SSE; however, looking at it, I reckon the south is rapidly being replaced by tiny NE wind bump. First tide of the day is a 1.85 metre high at 0720. It’ll be back to low at 1350.
There were a few bods in the water along the beach at the Dee Why end, but I didn’t see them catch anything. It looked to be around the knee to waist range. The point didn’t look surfable at all.
The coming week isn’t looking too exciting. The next four days could be dominated by small, short period wind bump and beyond that the models are not cheerful. There is one model calling for a midday pulse on Thursday – but it’s Robinson Crusoe.
Have yourself a great Monday everyone!

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is moving east maintaining a ridge to the northwest and directing north to northeasterly winds along the New South Wales coast. On Wednesday, a low pressure trough is expected to bring a south to southeasterly change along the southern half of the coast before weakening on the north coast during Thursday.
