Hello Friends,
NNE 8-10 kt at 0740 and swell is 1.3 metres out of the SSE with a period of 6 seconds. So for the optimistic crew in the water at Dee Why beach the wave options are, shall we say, on the small side. From the look of it, ankle to knee high is probably a fair description. Tide’s dropping to the low at 1110 and by the time the afternoon wind is in full swing, the tide will be headed to the high at 1700.
There’s not much hope for any improvement to surf conditions today that I can see. For the longer term outlook, I commend you to the latest missive from his Goatness (includes a Christmas message!).
Go well with your day everybody and stay happy!
